This is one of those simple things that just blew my mind....
I saw this tip on MoneySavingMom that you can re-grow store bought green onions, and just keep snipping the tops as you need them.
Did I just blow your mind too??

I would totally do this is I cooked with green onions! Austin wouldn't touch anything with green onions in it. I can sometimes get away with regular onions if I chop them up in little bits and cooked them down to practically nothing, then mix them thoroughly into the food so they are well hidden. Sigh... This is my husband I'm talking about, not my child.
I don't buy or use green onions very often either, but this may be a nice way to have some one hand for whenever you want to use/hide them.
